Stowe has some of the best trails in the Northeast, starting with Trapps Family Lodge and their award winning groomed trails. Dont miss a ski or snowshoe to the cabin for some hot chocolate, and fun.
Trapp Family Lodge also has showshoe rentals, maps and pristine trails. Make sure to inquire about their moonlight snowshoes learn some history of the Von Trapp Family and take in the beautiful views high above stowe.
A short drive from the Stowe Mountain lodge enjoy a carriage ride in your choice of vehicle, complements of giant Percheron and Belgian draft horses. Youll journey along a winding wooded trail, and through a charming covered bridge.
Day time dogsled rides are run in the rolling hills outside of Stowe and are a total of five miles long. You will travel to a remote lake called Little Elmore and back to our starting area. Nighttime dogsled rides are held right at the Stowe Mountain lodge a wonderful way to see the the mountain in a different light.
